About Me

I build clarity into systems where complexity is highest.

I'm a Senior UX Architect specialising in enterprise platforms where operational complexity is highest, government systems, healthcare infrastructure, and large-scale insurance and technology platforms. I translate complex workflows into scalable, accessible digital experiences that teams can build on and users can actually use.

14+ years across US state government (New York, Maryland, New Jersey, Michigan), Fortune 500 technology, and enterprise insurance, delivering design systems, WCAG 2.1 AA compliance, and measurable efficiency gains for hundreds of thousands of users.

How I Think

How I approach complex systems

Four principles that guide every engagement, from discovery through delivery.

01

Map real workflows, not assumptions

Every engagement starts with understanding how the system actually works, not how it's documented. Stakeholder interviews and contextual inquiry surface the gaps documentation misses.

02

Find failure points across connected systems

Most UX problems in enterprise systems live at the handoffs, between modules, teams, and processes. Identifying these before designing solutions prevents the most common rework cycles.

03

Align design with engineering constraints

Good UX architecture accounts for the system it lives in. Design decisions that ignore technical constraints don't survive implementation. Close collaboration with engineering is non-negotiable.

04

Build systems, not one-off solutions

Scalable design systems with documented components reduce long-term engineering cost, improve consistency, and allow teams to deliver faster without accumulating design debt.

How I Work

End-to-end. Every time.
I don't just follow a process, I fight through the chaos to deliver.

01
→ Prevents building the wrong product

Discover

  • Aligning conflicting stakeholder priorities across departments
  • Identifying gaps between business intent and actual system behaviour
  • Mapping workflows as they exist, not as documented
  • Competitive benchmarking and accessibility audit
Interviews Contextual Inquiry Heuristic Eval
02
→ Aligns teams before a line of code is written

Define

  • IA built around user mental models, not database schema
  • Journey maps revealing hidden failure points across the system
  • Service blueprints exposing front-stage and back-stage dependencies
  • Personas grounded in research, not assumptions
IA Design Journey Maps Blueprints
03
→ Reduces engineering rework and compliance risk

Design

  • Rapid wireframes to validate flow before high-fidelity investment
  • Accessibility built in from the first wireframe, not added at the end
  • Design system components aligned to engineering framework
  • Iterative stakeholder reviews embedded in every sprint

04
→ Ensures production quality under real conditions

Deliver

  • Resolving dev/design gaps during sprint cycles, before they ship
  • Multi-device usability testing under realistic conditions
  • Enforcing accessibility compliance under tight release timelines
  • Post-launch iteration based on real user behaviour
